See what a single-storey, open-plan kitchen extension typically costs, and what makes up that cost. Adjust the options and the figures update as you go.

Use external dimensions. Measure to the outside face of the new walls, not the inside of the room. The guide figures are based on this.
The guide shell figure is the same for either roof. The pitched roof shown here has a vaulted ceiling. Your roof choice decides which roof glazing options you see below.
Each extra shows a typical allowance including VAT, for guidance only. Tick what you're considering. Exclusions are shown under each one.

All figures include VAT and are based on external dimensions. They exclude land costs, unforeseen ground or structural issues, and anything listed as not included above. This guide is based on extensions of 20 to 38 m² external floor area, about 4 m deep. Other sizes, proportions, unusual ground conditions and complex designs vary more widely.
Send us your kitchen extension details and we'll get back to you to talk it through and arrange a site visit. That's where your project is assessed and priced. Your size, roof, extras and guide figures are included automatically.
